Cow(boy) Poetry

Open your eyes. See the tall grass and wide expanse of sky.
The shadows of the clouds skipping easily over peaks and hills.
Look closer still and see the cows.
Bellies round from too much grass.
 Mothers resting,
 But alert for danger.
 Keep low and quiet.
What's that in the grass? They wonder.

love it. . .

there really is something so sweet and simple about cows. You are quite the poet, Mandy.
